On 22 January 2024, the National Executive Branch published in the Official Gazette Decree No. 55/2024 (the “Decree”) declaring 2024 as the year of the “Defense of Life, Liberty and Property”.
The Decree stipulates that all official documentation of the National Public Administration and the autarchic entities dependent on the Public Administration must bear the legend “YEAR OF THE DEFENCE OF LIFE, FREEDOM AND PROPERTY”.
Furthermore, the Decree establishes that the National Executive Power will carry out the relevant actions to highlight, disseminate and raise awareness of the values of life, liberty and property.
Finally, the Decree invites the Argentine provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to adhere to the Decree.
