On November 26, 2024, the Customs Collection and Control Agency (“ARCA”) released through the Official Gazette General Resolution No. 5604/2024 (the “Resolution”).
The Resolution eliminates the requirement to prepay 95% of the PAIS Tax on imports, provided that the importer declares that payments will be made by accessing the foreign exchange market.
As of November 25, 2024, this Resolution became effective.
