San Juan has launched a public bidding process for nine mining areas

Mining tender in Argentina

The Government of San Juan, through the Provincial Institute of Mining Exploration and Exploitation (“IPEEM”), has launched a public bidding call for the exploration, with an option for exploitation, of nine mining areas located in the Iglesia and Calingasta departments, two jurisdictions recognized for hosting some of the most important metalliferous deposits in the country.

The call includes 23 mining rights under a risk contract model, a scheme that allows companies to carry out exploration activities by assuming the initial investment, with the possibility of developing the projects if positive results are obtained.

The bidding documents and terms and conditions will be available for purchase until June 22 at noon, while the opening of bids is scheduled for June 23.
