On 6/11/2020 Javier Canosa chaired the panel on the IBA Virtually-Together conference on “Cannabis: supply and distribution in the framework of international and national states regulations (and restrictions). New trends of the market for both medical and recreational cannabis”
The session focused on the use of cannabis for medical and recreational purposes as several countries have recently changed their national rules allowing the use of cannabis. The market is rapidly growing, and many players are competing for shares of the new business. Nevertheless, the existing international conventions and national restrictions still represent serious obstacles and risks in dealing with production, importation and sale of cannabis.
During the session law and business experts discussed the new market trends and main issues dealing with these products. It was a very interesting IBA conference moderated by Javier Canosa and Laura Opilio.
