BCRA Communication “A” 7613 provides some points regarding Payment Service Providers (PSP). It provides that “PSPs shall have a term of 6 months to start operations as from the date of their registration – as from the day on which the registration certificate is sent to them -; failure to comply with this term shall imply the automatic deregistration”.
In the same line, the referred communication also states that “The PSP that has been deregistered for failure to start operations or that has had its registration declared null and void for failure to remedy the observations within the established terms may not initiate a new registration process until 6 months have elapsed from the date of deregistration or null and void, respectively”. Finally, PSPs must inform through the registry application the date of effective start of their operations.
