The Ministry of Economy Moves Forward with Stage II of the Federal Concessions Network

On November 19, 2025, the Ministry of Economy issued Resolution No. 1843/2025 (the “Resolution”), authorizing the call for a National and International Public Tender with a Multi-Stage Procedure corresponding to Stage II of the Federal Concessions Network, within the framework of the privatization process of Corredores Viales S.A.

This measure falls within the privatization regime established by Law No. 27,742 and Decree No. 97/2025, and aims to advance the concession of sections of the national road network to the private sector, under the public works concession system financed through tolls, with the objective of ensuring the operation, maintenance, conservation, expansion, and provision of services to users of the roads included.

The Resolution authorizes the call for tender for the Southern, Atlantic, Southern Access, and Pampa Sections of the Federal Concessions Network – Stage II, which comprise various strategic corridors of the national road network, under the regime established by Law No. 17,520, as amended.

Furthermore, the Resolution approves all the tender and contractual documentation necessary to carry out the procedure, including the General and Special Terms and Conditions, technical specifications, the model contract, bid forms, the regulations on infringements and sanctions and their respective annexes, all of which are available for consultation and download through the official CONTRATAR.GOB.AR platform.

With regard to the procedural timetable, the regulation provides that requests for clarification regarding the tender documents may be submitted until January 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., while bids must be submitted by February 6, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. The opening of bids will take place on the same day at 1:00 p.m., through a public act conducted electronically via the aforementioned platform.
