On May 8, 2025, Resolution No. 103/APRA/25 (the “Resolution”) was published in the Official Gazette of the Professional Council of Architecture and Urbanism (CPAU after its spanish acronym).
By virtue of this Resolution, Resolutions No.288-GCABA-APRA/23 and No.81-GCABA-APRA/25, as well as Provision No 414-GCABA-DGEVA/21, were repealed.
The provisions of the Resolution shall apply to those activities, projects, programs, and/or undertakings that fall within the definitions of “Work” or “Use” as set forth in the Glossary contained in Annex II.
The Resolution approves a revised Categorization Table for “works and uses,” and regulates the procedures for the application, renewal, and modification of the Environmental Suitability Certificate, as well as those related to the “closure and/or dismantling of a use.”
The Resolution shall apply to all ongoing proceedings that have not yet resulted in a final administrative decision, as well as to those initiated after its entry into force. Certificates issued prior to the adoption of this Resolution shall remain valid until their respective expiration dates, unless the categorization of the relevant activity is modified.
